How to Care for Your Retainers

Help your retainers last as long as possible by following a few simple habits.

• Brush the inside and outside of your retainers each morning with a soft toothbrush after removing them.
• Keep your retainer fresh by using cleaning tablets or an ultrasonic cleaner.
• Store retainers in their protective case whenever they are not being worn.
• Toothpaste and mouthwash can be used but may cause retainers to become cloudy over time.
• Inspect your retainers regularly for cracks, chips, or changes in fit.
