How does Invisalign® treatment for teens work?

Invisalign® treatment for teens works in exactly the same way as Invisalign® for adults. There is just one difference – teen aligners come with blue wear indicators to help teens remember to wear their aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day. Teens can still wear their aligners during sports and musical instrument practice, but they can take them out for meals and important social events, so they don’t need to worry about treatment affecting their lifestyle.

Getting started with Invisalign® treatment

Every Invisalign® treatment started with a free smile assessment. We will ensure that your teen could benefit from Invisalign® aligners, and will use our iTero scanner to make an accurate 3D model of their smile. We can even show them what their smile will look like after treatment!

The digital model will be used to design your teen’s custom treatment from start to finish. It will also be used to construct a series of aligners tailor-made for your teen’s exact smile needs and goals.
